- February 1838 – Katherine “Kate” Kathrens born in Middlebury, Vermont to Charles James Kathrens (he was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1787), a music teacher
- December 31, 1854 – Michael Finney and Katherine Kathrens were married in Lexington, Missouri
- 1856 – James K. Finney born in Liberty, Clay Co., Missouri
- 1856 – Seven months after James was born, the family moved to Atchison
- April 17, 1857 – Lots 9 and 10 were sold by the Atchison Town County to Samuel C. and Lucy Pomeroy
- April 5, 1859 – They sold Lot 9 to Thaddeus and Theodore Hyatt of New York City
- April 24, 1859 – They (Hyatts) gave power of attorney to handle the property to Willis or Millis E. Gaylord and Samuel C. Pomeroy
- June 19, 1858 – Maria “Mamie” Finney was born
- September 1859 – Mamie Finney died. Age 15 months.
- October 30, 1861 – Agnes Marie Finney born. Nickname was Aggie
- February 1, 1865 – Charles C. Finney born
- 1866 – Michael C. Finney acquired the property Lots 9 and 10, where 504 and 508 N. 2nd Street houses were built.
- 1867 – 508 N. 2nd Street house built. According to Agnes Finney’s obituary, her father M.C. Finney built the house.
- September 27, 1872 – Michael C. Finney died at 10 PM in the house
- May 25, 1873 – Richard Edwin Finney born
- 1874 – Charles James Kathrens, father of Kate Finney, died July 14, 1874. He lived with Kate and her family at the time of his death.
- 1874 – Richard Edwin Finney, son of the late M.C. Finney and Kate Finney, died September 29, 1874
- 1879 – 504 N. 2nd Street was built by James K. Finney
- June 28, 1879 – Deed #53 (pertains to 504 N. 2nd Street) – It is then deeded to James K. Finney. There is a mortgage deed by James K. Finney to David A. Bond
- October 11, 1881 – Deed #57 (pertains to 504 N. 2nd Street) – James K. Finney gave the lot to Kate Finney
- October 23, 1882 – Deed #61 (pertains to 504 N. 2nd Street) – Kate deeded the land to Mrs. Catherine Bayes
- June 26, 1899 – Deed $129 (pertains to 504 N. 2nd Street) – Lot deeded to Joanna Barnes, a single woman. Mortgage dated same day for $130 held by Catherine Bayes

- February 14, 1907 – Charles H. Finney was born to Charles C. Finney and Louise Zibold
- 1913 – Charles C. Finney elected Mayor of Atchison
- 1916 – Charles Finney resigned as Mayor
- May 4, 1918 – At 7 AM, after spending the last three days unconscious, William A. True dies at 508 N. 2nd Street
- 1920 – Agnes Finney is taking in boarders at 508 N. 2nd Street, after the deaths of her husband and mother
- 1926 – Agnes Finney still calls 508 home
- 1928 – Agnes Finney still living at 508
- November 28, 1939 – Agnes Finney dies at midnight in the house at 508 N. 2nd Street. Had been ill for the last three years.
- 1941 – Fred Kenner and family are now living at 508
- 1947 – Charles H. Finney and wife, Mildred, live in 508 until they decide to move
- December 1948 – Dick Mize and family moved into 508 N. 2nd Street. They live in the house for a short time. One of their children is named Sarah “Sallie” Margaret Mize. (She is still alive)
- 1950 – Vacant
- 1957 – Roscoe Cook and wife, Henrietta, live at 508
- 1958 – Ethel Anderson lives at 508 N. 2nd Street. She is the ex-wife of Dr. W.L. Anderson
- 1958 – 1990 – Ethel Anderson lived at 508 N. 2nd Street
- 1990 – 1992 – At some point, Bobby and Colleen Humbard moved from 504 N. 2nd Street to 508 N. 2nd Street. Their daughter Heather played with an “imaginary friend named Sallie. She later identified a drawing that Tony Pickman made as being her friend Sallie.
- 1992 – 1994 – Debra and Tony Pickman live at 508 N. 2nd Street
- 1999 – 2001 – Merry Liggett lived at 508 N. 2nd Street
- 2006 – House is vacant
